Method of application
The instructions that came with the device, provides detailed guidance on the use of water in various diseases and for economic purposes. The combination is 'live' and 'dead' water is most commonly used for intake or surface use at different times.
Take the top cover with the electrodes off the device. Pour water into a fabric glass to the edges and into the main tank at 15-20 mm below the upper edge of the glass.
Bottled non-carbonated water with a salinity of less than 250 mg / liter is recommended to use as the initial water.
Place the top cover in accordance with the instructions and connect the unit to the power supply. Remember the time of powering on. The work of the unit is indicated by the glow voltage indicator on the electrodes and appearance of the bubbles at the cathode.
Quantitative characteristic of the acidity or alkalinity of water is pH value, which is determined by the activity of hydrogen ions. Distilled water - neutral - has pH equal to 7. For anolyte pH value of from 2 to 6 units is recommended and for the catholyte - from 9 to 12 units.
To obtain the catholyte with pH = 10-12 units 3-10 minutes of device working is enough. For the anolyte with pH = 2-4 units enough 3-10 minutes of device working is enough. The exact time of obtaining the desired pH is shown in a separate table of the instruction. pH level can be measured accurately only with a laboratory ionometer.
At the end of the required time cut off the power from the device, carefully remove the top cover with the electrodes, pull the cloth glass and pour the anolyte ('dead water') out into the prepared container. After that, pour catholyte ('water of life') into another container.
After each treatment of water, wipe the cathode made of stainless steel with a (10-14%) vinegar solution against white bloom. Black electrode (anode) is made of titanium coated with ruthenium, it is not necessary to wipe it.
The anolyte and catholyte should be used within 5-8 hours after preparation - solutions lose their activity in the course of time. Do not place the activated water in the fridge - water quality is lost. When such water is heated it shouldn’t be boiled.
After a 40-60-minutes of storage capacity of the catholyte at the bottom of the container a white hardness precipitate appears, which should be drained.
A single average dose of activated water for oral use is 1 / 2 glass for adults. For children of from 2 to 5 years, the dose is a quarter of a glass, from 5 to 12 years - one third of glass, and for older children the same dosage as for adults can be used.
It is recommended to intake the activated water 30 minutes before meals or 2-2.5 hours after meals. It is desirable to avoid fatty and spicy foods and alcoholic beverages during the course of treatment.
When intaking 'live' and then 'dead' water to make a pause between intakes not less than 1.5-2 hours should be made - otherwise actions of each of them will be neutralized.
For external applications (handling wounds, burns, etc.) a pause between the use of 'live' and 'dead' water of 8-10 minutes is necessary.
Use and storage conditions
Before the first use of the unit, it is necessary to wash the fabric glass in soapy solution and rinse thoroughly it in warm water. Then treated water shall be treated in the unit for 10 minutes and poured down the drain.
Observe the safety rules for working with electrical appliances. Do not turn on Melesta without water in the tanks.
Remove the top cover, pour water, pour a ready solution, remove and install a fabric glass only when Melesty is disconnected from power supply . Do not touch the device during operation and rearrange it from place to place.
Do not leave the device unattended and do not make water treatment more than 10 minutes.
Do not use water with a salinity of more than 250 mg / liter. It is not recommended to use the tap water, because the level of mineralization can be very different.
For the prevention of bloom appearance on the electrodes wash them in 300-400 minutes of use with 14% vinegar solution or 5% hydrochloric acid solution .
